Gila River TRWTRW is at NRPA! 🌵➡️🌎
Tribal Recreation & Wellness is representing the Gila River Indian Community at the annual National Recreation and Park Association Conference! 🙌🏽
Our TRW team, joined by CSD Director Laurie Thomas and Deputy Director Kyromi Martinez-Pablo, is spending the week learning, connecting, and bringing home NEW ideas for our Community!
We’re talking innovative recreation programs, wellness initiatives, youth and elder programming, facility operations, leadership development, emerging trends, and plenty of ideas we’re already saying, “Okay… how can we bring THIS home?” 👀😂
Conferences like this aren’t just about attending sessions—they’re about investing in our people, building relationships with recreation professionals from across the country, and continuing to grow what recreation and wellness can look like for our seven districts, families, youth, adults, and elders.
We came ready to learn. We’re leaving ready to WORK! 💪🏽🌵
The Power of Parks & Recreation—and the power of bringing those ideas HOME! ❤️
