Alaska Medicaid (Denali KidCare and adult Medicaid) application

Medicaid gives free or low-cost medical coverage to low-income Alaskans including children, pregnant women, families, adults 19-64, elders and people with disabilities. Apply on healthcare.gov or through Alaska Connect, or call Public Assistance at 800-478-7778. The state says changes to Alaska Medicaid begin January 2027 (staycovered.alaska.gov). This is a statewide line, region-wide (not Bristol Bay specific).
