The Kotzebue Court House posts hearing schedule changes, closures (weather/power outages), and grand/petit jury call-ins on its own Facebook page. When the courthouse is closed, criminal hearings are still held telephonically. The Alaska Court System statewide offers free text-message reminders for any court hearing (text your case number, or JOIN, to 575-222-8484) and a free call-in/Zoom legal clinic held periodically statewide.
