Maniilaq Association (Workforce Development)Kotzebue

Maniilaq Job Placement & Training (JPT) and Adult Vocational Training (AVT)

JPT helps eligible tribal members of Ambler, Deering, Kivalina, Kobuk, Noorvik, and Shungnak gain job skills and find/retain employment. AVT funds tuition, fees, lodging, meals, and/or airfare for tribal members of those same villages enrolled in an accredited education program. If your tribe isn't listed, contact your local tribe (IRA) directly for AVT funding. Call 907-442-7021.
