City of Ketchikan Port & Harbors – moorage

The City runs six harbors (Bar Harbor North and South, Thomas Basin, Casey Moran/City Float, Knudson Cove, Hole-in-the-Wall) and three launch ramps. Harbormaster office: 2933 Tongass Avenue, 907-228-5632, email ktnharbors@ketchikan.gov, or VHF channel 16/73. Office staffed Mon-Fri 8-5 and weekends 8-4:30; harbor operations 6 am-10 pm May-Sept, 8 am-5 pm Oct-April. Open (transient) moorage is first-come at Casey Moran and marked areas; you must register your boat and pre-pay (non-refundable). Reserved stalls are assigned by the Harbormaster.
