Metlakatla Power & Light (MP&L) is Metlakatla's hydro-powered electric utility, run by the Metlakatla Indian Community. The MIC directory lists the MP&L office at 907-886-8376; MP&L's own notices give an after-hours/emergency number, 907-886-3311, and say the business office (now in the Old Tourism Building) is open Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm, P.O. Box 359, Metlakatla 99926. Pay at the office, at Tongass Federal Credit Union, by mail, or online at metlakatla.bill-payment.org.
