KPU Customer Service – start/stop utilities & telecom

Ketchikan Public Utilities (KPU) is the City-owned electric, water, sewer, garbage and telecom provider. One customer service office in the Plaza Mall handles new accounts, moves, bill questions and payments for both utilities and internet/phone: 2417 Tongass Ave, Suite 119D, Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5 pm, phone 907-225-1000, email cserv@ketchikan.gov. To start service fill out the online Residential Utilities Application (or the Commercial one). Electric is billed monthly by usage; city residents pay flat rates for water, sewer and garbage on the same bill; bills are delinquent after 25 days with a 5% late fee. Pay utilities by phone at 1-833-944-0037 or online.
