KIC Youth Services / Tribal Scholars Program

KIC's Tribal Scholars Program is a culturally based high-school option open to any Alaska Native or American Indian student in KGBSD: core English, science, math and social studies taught by tribal teachers at KIC's Tribal Youth Center each morning (8:00 AM-12:05 PM), with Tlingit/Haida/Tsimshian language and UAS college credit for subsistence science; students take afternoon electives at Kayhi or Revilla. Apply online (Adobe Sign) then interview. KIC also offers a Native Art program and a Haida language class at Kayhi (sign up during scheduling).
