KIC Northwest Coast Arts program (615 Stedman, upstairs)

Free/low-cost Northwest Coast art studio run by KIC's education program at 615 Stedman St, back building, upstairs, first glass door. School-year 'winter' hours: Thursdays 6:30-9 PM and Saturdays 11 AM-4 PM open craft (bring something to finish or start). Summer hours (2026): Tuesday-Saturday 10 AM-7 PM. Offerings: cedar bark weaving (hats, baskets), vest/tunic kits $50, moccasin kits $125, beading, spruce-root harvesting trips with Sealaska Heritage Institute, salve making. KIC members and youth must come with a parent or guardian. Also runs cultural art in the high school and Tribal Youth & Family programs, 6 days a week.
