State voter registration for Ketchikan, Saxman and Metlakatla is handled by the Region I Elections Office in Juneau: 907-465-3021 or toll-free 866-948-8683, electionsr1@alaska.gov, 9109 Mendenhall Mall Road, Suite 3, Juneau 99801. Register or update your address online at voterregistration.alaska.gov (or at the Borough or City Clerk's office or the library), check your registration at myvoterportal.alaska.gov, and request an absentee ballot online. You must be registered 30 days before an election; residents turning 18 by election day can register up to 90 days before their birthday. The 2026 state general election is Tuesday November 3.
