ONC Housing Department — homebuyer, rehab, rental assistance, emergency repair (Bethel)

For low-income Native households who have lived in Bethel 30 days or more (1/4 or more Native, tribal enrollment card or CIB; NAHASDA income limits 1 person $45,000, 2 $51,550, 3 $58,000, 4 $64,400, 5 $69,600, 6 $74,750, 7 $79,900, 8 $85,050; APSIN background check for everyone 18+). Programs: Homebuyer (pay 15% of income for 15 years, then own); Rehabilitation of a home you own (roof, leveling, windows - no payments); Rental Assistance vouchers (six months, for a private-market rental); Homeless Prevention (first month's rent and/or deposit up to $2,500); ONC Low-Rent units (30% of income including lights, water/sewer and heating fuel); Emergency Repair for hazardous plumbing or wiring; and Down Payment Assistance if a lender has pre-qualified you. Fill in a separate application for each program. Renovation and homebuyer applications are due October 31 to be considered for the following year's projects.
